News Death Notice

HOUTZ, Robert Rob 47, of Xenia passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital following a motorcycle accident. He is preceded in death by his father Ralph Houtz. Rob is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kimberly Houtz; children Shelby Houtz, Jessica Ort, and Chase Houtz; mother Kathren Houtz; sister Angela (Steven) Kerney; grandchildren Ben McCarter and Erica Horton; many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends, including Charlie Kuhnwald. He was a self employed Plumber in the Dayton area for 12 years. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM Friday, September 3, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services Saturday at Calvary Cemetery.
