News Death Notice

KRUSZYNSKI, Robert L. age 82, of Eaton, OH, passed away Friday afternoon, January 1, 2010 at Heartland of Eaton. Born June 27, 1927 in South Bend, IN, he was a son of the late Thomas J. & Martha (Swinsick) Kruszynski. He served with US Marine Corp during WW II and had worked as a stone and brick mason retiring in 1976. Member of the Eaton First Church of the Nazarene and 50 year member of the VFW. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Thomas Joseph and Richard Kruszynski. Survived by wife Mabel E. (Thorpe) Kruszynski whom he married February 16, 1984: sons Robert L. Kruszynski, Jr. & wife Susan of South Bend; and Michael Kruszynski of Sugarland, TX: step son Terry Chapman & wife Sandy of West Alexandria, OH: 4 grandchildren and 1 step grandson: brother James Kruszynski of South Bend: and sister Joyce Chamberlain of South Bend. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens. Friends may call on the family from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to VITAS Hospice. Interment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
