Family-Placed Obituary

COUNTRYMAN, Roberta Louise (Brown) passed away October 9, 2004, in Fremont, Michigan after a short illness. Roberta was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 15, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Veda Brown and her husband of 53 years Robert Countryman. She is survived by cousin Joanne Sutton and family of Dayton, Ohio; special friends Ed and Chris Haynor, Mark and Maxine Engle of Newaygo; and Bill and Dorie Traxler of Sparta. Roberta and bob retired from Ohio to Newaygo at Pettit bake in 1985. Roberta enjoyed her many years in Newaygo. She will be missed by her numerous friends at the Tuesday and Friday euchre games at the Newaygo VFW. Services will be held on Saturday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the McKinley Funeral Home in Newaygo. The family will greet friends at 10:30 a.m. before the service. Interment will be in the City of Newaygo cemetery immediately following the service. The family suggests memorials be sent to the Newaygo VFW or Newaygo First Responders.

Roberta my dear, how we will miss you. You were always such a wonderful happy person and a friend, how we enjoyed living near you when you and Bob and I retired and had so much fun living on Pettit Lake but we will all be together again someday, love from the Munros.
