To Ron’s family and friends, I am so very sorry for your loss. To say that he was a great man is an understatement. I met Ron 40 plus years ago when I was a student in the Dental Hygiene program at Sinclair. He took his security job very seriously. We always felt safe whenever Ron was around. Sometimes when we couldn’t find patients for our “clinicals,” we would head down to the library and look for “volunteers.” If we had a “weirdo,” we could always count on Ron for his help. We all knew that he would be very successful in Law Enforcement; and he was!
God bless you Ron for your service and dedication; and for inspiring and setting a good example for young people entering a life of service.

I believe God has a great sense of humor and am certain Ron is now doing his best Groucho for Groucho. Ron is one of the guy's I was lucky enough to work with and become friends with as we pursued our studies and careers @ Sinclair. I believe Dave (Lunsford), Denny (Cunningham), John (Jonathan Young), Jeff (Taylor), Bruce (Neff), Ed (Leen-RIP) Ron and myself forged an understanding of service as result of our meeting in 1976 with positive peer pressure. We were fortunate enough to work together and cross paths during our 30-plus years serving the public. Ron, like those I note and others I may have omitted, did our service proud. Ron, thanks for again paving the way for the rest of us to follow. T. J. Scott (MCSO 4/2/1979-7/25/2009)
