News Death Notice

MODRAS, RUBY (Moan) age 59, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013. Ruby was best known for her sense of humor, giving heart, and kind soul. She enjoyed spending time with her family and felt most at home in her kitchen and garden. She was a graduate of Patterson Co-op. Ruby was a dedicated employee of Ohio Bell, Northridge Local Schools, People's Aquatic Club, Mad River Local Schools and Groceryland. Ruby was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her mother, Ruby Moan; brother, William "Bill" Moan; children, Andrew (Katie), Ashley, Danny, Abigail (Daniel), Rachel and Aaron; grandchildren, Amelia, Shelby, Caleb, Mathew, Zachary, Alyanna; nieces and nephews, Cheri, Wesley (Stephanie), Nic, Brittany, Trent, Tristan, life-long friend Alane Leever and countless other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father James "Jim" Moan and sister-in-law, Janée Kinney. A Memorial Service will be held 2-4PM Sunday November 3, 2013 at Celebrations Banquet Center on Stop Eight Road. If desired, donations may be made to benefit the family through the Ruby Modras Memorial Fund at Wright-Patt Credit Union. A special thanks to the staff at Grandview Medical Center and Life Connection of Ohio. Ruby will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all.
