Family-Placed Obituary

STRINGFIELD, Ruby A. age 79, of Eaton, OH, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at the Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC following a brief illness. Born February 21, 1925 in Sunbright, TN to the late Bill & Helen (Frogg) Coffey. Ruby retired from the Inland Division of General Motors working at both the Dayton and Vandalia plants. She was a member of the Stringfield Chapel Church in Sun bright. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on December 28, 1976 by husband Wilbur E. Stringfield, whom she married December 24, 1940: son Randall Stringfield and an infant daughter. Survived by children Linda (Paul) Shaffer of West Alexandria, OH; Brenda (John) Davidson of Lewisburg, OH; Daniel Stringfield of Clover, SC; Larry (Olga) Stringfield of Eaton; Patricia (Larry) Back of Hamilton, OH; Zelma (Rodney) Wise of Falling Waters, WV; Diana (Earl) Couch of Eaton; and Phyllis (John) Hill of Clover, SC: 16 grandchildren: 19 great grandchildren: brothers James and Bill Coffey of Harriman, TN: and sister Barbara Coffey of Harriman, TN. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2004 at the Robed L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor George W. Pennington presiding. Friends may call on the family from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn. Interment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
