News Death Notice
FREEMAN, S. Berkeley age 68, of Kettering, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Berkeley is survived by his wife of 29 years: Stella; brothers-in-law: Roger (Judy) Randolph & Ken (Sue) Randolph; and several nieces and nephews. Berkeley attended Seminary at Andrews University, he was an active member of Kettering SDA Church choir and for over 40 years sang in a quartet. He loved music. He devoted the last 25 years working for Christian Record Services for the blind, prior he worked for Kettering Medical Center as a Pharmacy Tech and taught school in Cincinnati. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Terry Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow the service at David's Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christian Record, 4444 S. 52nd St., Lincoln, NE 68513-1302 in memory of Berkeley. Stella,Darlene and I want to extend our sympathy to you. We enjoyed seeing you both at the Gary High School reunion. It was wonderful to see the pictures on Facebook that he shared with us. He will be missed.

Stella,I was so sorry to hear about Berkeley's passing. I remember him well when we all were at the Far Hills Church. He was a gentle person and so kind to everyone and kept us all smiling. I will keep you and the family in my thoughts and prayers. Esther Tate Taylor

We were shocked to hear of His death.
