Sally TACKETT Obituary
News Death Notice
TACKETT, Sally passed away peacefully Tuesday at Sycamore Hospital. Sally was born in Pound, Virginia in 1941 and moved to Dayton, Ohio where she worked at Frigidaire and eventually retired from General Motors Truck & Bus. She loved to travel and be around family and friends during her retirement years and enjoyed following the Reds & Bengals. Sally was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Tackett and is survived by her children Rick West (Michelle) of Englewood, grandchildren Ryan, Michael, Jamie and Andrew, Jim West of Dayton and Valeri West of Huber Heights. There will be a graveside service for the family where she will be laid to rest in Jackson, Ohio next to her husband on June 3rd at 2:00 pm. Mom, you will be missed dearly, you were always there for us and never thought twice about it. Heaven will be a much better place with you there, and always know, not a day will go by you're not in our thoughts. We miss you.
