News Death Notice

CHRISTIE, Sarah Margaret passed away on June 22, 2008. Sarah was born on March 3, 1924 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky and was the daughter of Grover and Kittie Heltsley. She was one of ten children and is survived by her sisters, Ruby Jackson of Ohio and Joyce Lathem of Kentucky. Her brother Cecil lives in Kentucky. Sarah was the proud mother of five daughters- Rita Brinegar of Ohio, Sheila Barberini (husband Paul) of Arizona, Margaret Unverferth-Whitt (husband Greg) of Ohio, Sharon Guidone (husband Fred) of Arizona, and Lisa Reed (husband Larry) of Michigan. Sarah loved her grandchildren-Greg, Shelly, Bob, Sara, Nicole, Heather, Stephanie, David, Dillon and Siara. Sarah's great grandchildren include her beloved Gavin, Jason, Dustin, Kirsten, Andrew, Jessica, Lindsey, Vivian, Lydia, Mykenzi, Teddy, and Alan Joseph. Sarah was a devout Christian and a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert and grandson Jimmy. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Al Stroop officiating. Interment Valley View memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Wednesday and from 12:30 - 1:30 PM Thursday.
