Dear Mrs. Pretorius,
Each time I have visited Dayton, Ohio and gone past the street where our family lived on Salem Avenue and Philadelphia Drive, I am often reminded of your daughter, Sharon. She delivered the newspaper to our home every morning. She was the first newspaper (girl) we had during the course of our stay in the Dayton View area. I remember the day of her disappearance like it was yesterday and after my recent visit to Dayton, Ohio on July 13th, I drove past our old house again. I am so glad you gave us a consciousness to keep searching and hoping for Sharon's return throughout the years and at the same time, I still pray that God gives you the vision to find closure and solve Sharon's disappearance. She was a very pleasant, saavy and business minded child and at the same time, she was also kind to others.
Thank you for your tenacious celebration of your daughter's life and memory. I will keep you in my prayers, as I have done throughout the years.
