My Favorite memory is when Steve and Chris rode through a car wash on the hood of a car. I laughed so hard I cried. I am sorry for your families loss. Steve is going to be missed but never forgotten. Diana Young Bellbrook Ohio

I'm from Piqua, and was only a few months older than Steve. I met him a couple of times and he did some Voice-Over work for me as well. I still have the "Kerrigan and Christopher Christmas ornament" from the Turkey Bowl. Steve had great wit, and was a great guy. My thoughts go out to the family.

What a tremendous loss to everyone who loved to listen to this fine young man every morning! Heading down 1-75 in the am it was known for two things-traffic and Christopher and Kerrigan-and somehow Kerrigan made the ride so much easier. To laugh in the car alone must have looked so silly, but we all didn't care! The Noskers from Troy will miss you Mr. Kerrigan!

To a fellow Dayton Flyer - I listened to Steve while attending UD and then during the many years I worked in the Dayton area - he was my morning drive companion. Blessings to his family. Steve embodied the true spirit of the the Flyer Faithful and will be missed by many.

I was so saddened at Steve's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Steve for several years at Clear Channel. We sales types didn't hang out with the programming side a lot, but I loved when Steve did remotes for my clients. We would chat a lot off air between breaks. I always enjoyed him on the air, but I remember him most for his smile, his greeting in the hallways, and his wonderful sense of humor. Loved by many and gone too soon...he left so many wonderful memories. God Bless his family and to them my deepest sympathies.

Kerrigan & Christopher were the best at their craft. Steve would use me once and a while for a "skit". He was like a movie director in the way he wanted you to come across. The ideas he had were crazy and unpredictable..a lot depended on timing and Steve was the best. I appreciate the time I spent with him at TUE and continued to be a fan when he went to K99. Thanks for the memories and Thanks for the comedic education. You are truly missed by many, many fans and co-workers.

Steve had a magical combination with Christopher - they cracked me up for many years. I was then lucky enough to work for Clear Channel Radio and met Steve - he was a real stand up guy and a hard worker. Funny story - he got moved into sales and was a natural at it, but missed entertaining people, which was his real calling. What a great guy - he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

To the Children,
I never had the pleasure of meeting your father, but I did listen to him on the radio. I understand where your senses of humor originated. It was wonderful teaching most of you in the Sugarcreek School system. My prayers and sympathy in the loss of your father. Kelly Hodson

I was a long-time fan of Kerrigan -- still remember how upset I was when Kerrigan & Christopher came to an end. It was so great when Steve came back to the area to team up with Nancy Wilson -- they made my mornings when I was dealing with my own grief. His passing feels to me like losing a truly good friend, and I know many listeners in the area feel the same. What a great guy who will be truly missed. Our Lord will surely give his family the strength to see them through & I pray for their comfort and peace.

I am a loyal listener to K-99.1 and Steve brought a smile to my face more times than I can express on my morning drive to work. He was fighting cancer at the same time my aunt was waging her war against breast cancer; listening to him speak of his own experience gave me the courage to be the "wall" my aunt needed during her endless treatment and surgery. I lost her too soon at age 50, my heart and prayers are with Steve's family. I know their pain, but memories are truly a blessing and the comfort of knowing their pain has ended.

Like so many people I did not know Steve personally but felt as if I did through his morning show with Nancy. He is truly an inspiration showing that living life strong is the way to live life. He is such a hero to so many people. My heart hurts for all his family and friends. I hope all of you can find comfort in knowing how many people he touched and how blessed you were to be part of his life.

I can remember being late to work because Steve had me laughing so much I had to pull the car over to the side of the road!!! Heaven will never be the same!!! God Speed Steve-we will miss you terribly!!!
