STEVEN LINK Obituary

LINK, Steven R. 68, of West Carrollton, passed away on December 4, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. Steve was born on December 18, 1947 to the late John and Hesther (Brown) Link of Ravenna, MI. Steven is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Linda; daughters, Heather (Tom) Slentz, Meredith Link, and Allison Link; grandsons, Tyler Link and Connor Slentz; granddaughter, Linley Slentz; brother, Jack (June) Link; sister, Jane (Dave) Rikkers; and sister-in-law, Sandi (Don) Symonds; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Steve served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the US Army. Steve worked for NCR as a Finance Manager for 25 years and eventually retired from US Bank after 9 years. Steve coached soccer for over 20 years and was very active in his church. He was a lifelong Michigan State Spartan Fan. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, fishing, and bicycling. Visitation will be held on December 9, 2016 from 6:00 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on December 10, 2016 at 11:00am at Concordia Lutheran Church, 250 Peach Orchard Ave, Oakwood, Ohio. A Private Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
