Tara Mitchell Obituary


News Death Notice

MITCHELL, Tara Sue 58 of Gilbert, Arizona, formerly of Dayton and Kettering, died December 12th, 2008, after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. She worked as a nurse at Miami Valley Hospital and Staff Builders in the early 1970's. She obtained her MSN from Arizona State University. She is survived by her daughters, Caitlin Christine and Hannah Kyle Shepherd; Her former husband and friend, Steve Shepherd; Her mother, Eileen and brother, Charles Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis and brother, Kyle, with whom she will be buried June 20th. Tara donated her body to support cancer research. She loved and cared for many animals, throughout her life.Donations in her memory can be made to ASPCA or American Cancer Society.

Tara is my hero! She went through so much to stay here as long as she could. She did it all for her girls, Caty and Hannah. They were her most treasured blessings, and she loved them very much. God decided it was time for her to be with Him. She is happy now,and there is no more pain and suffering for her ...anymore...God Bless you, Tara

Mom,
I just want to tell you that i miss you more and more every single day that goes by. It's not the same without you here. Your service was beautiful i know you were watching over all of your family and friends, especially Hannah and i. We needed your comfort and you brought us it. I am expanding my angel wings that i had tattooed on my back. Your now a marvelous and beautiful angel with BIG wings so i feel like mine need to bigger for you! I never stop believing and i will never stop loving you. I will always be your Punky!!
