SWINNEY, Timothy W. Age 66, Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born in Hamilton on September 10, 1952, the son of William C. and Patricia Ann (Beckett) Swinney. He was a 1970 graduate of Taft High School. Tim had been employed as a production worker at Fisher Body and later Matandy Steel, retiring in 2014. He served as a member of the Ohio National Guard. He was a life member of Monkey Mutual Aid Society, a huge Ohio State fan and an avid golfer. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Josh) Liles, Hamilton and Brian (Kim) Swinney, Liberty Township; his brothers, Gregory W. (Kathy) Swinney, Hamilton and Randall P. (Lisa) Swinney, Trenton; his sisters, Lona (David) Ratliff, Hamilton and Connie (Bob) Blossom, Fairfield Township and seven grandchildren, Natasha, Kaden, Savannah, Abbey, Clayton, Spencer and Henry. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Pastor Kris Theobald officiating.
