News Death Notice
ROBINSON, Tonja J. age 59, of Dayton, passed away, Friday, March 16, 2012. She is preceded in death by father, Tammy Highland and brother, Pete Sexton. She is survived by her daughters, Teressa Robinson & Deven (Gregory) King; mother, Virginia Highland; grandchildren, Mason King & Alaina King; brothers, Terry Sexton, Darryl (Debbie) Highland, and Scott Highland; sister, Tammy (Mike) Kennedy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March21, 2012 from 10-11am at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where services will be held at 11:00AM. My heart is filled with sadness at the loss of a wonderful person with such a great soul.
Unfortunately people like Tonja do not come along very often, but fortunately I was lucky enough to share a small part of her life journey and as a classmate and friend, I will always remember her warm smile and the laughter we shared. She will be missed forever by those whose lives she touched. I know... because I was one of them.
God bless you Tonja, and may the loving memories that your family holds dear, help to get them through this trying time.
