News Death Notice
ADKINS, Vernon David age 61, of Moraine, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Vernon was an avid and accomplished musician. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey & Mildred Adkins; son, David Kelly Carpenter; brothers, Dalford & Harold Adkins and brother-in-law, Woody Flynn. Vernon is survived by his wife Teresa Adkins; daughters, Casey (Jason) Boston, Melissa Adkins and Amie (Andy) Payne; grandchildren, Ciera Donthnier and Max Boston; siblings, Tommy (Pauline) Adkins, Annie (Kenny) Hill, James (Dee) Adkins, Nellie (Rich) Sullivan, Dora (Jack) Abrams, Violet Flynn, Terri (Jim) Razauskas, and Sandy (Larry) Sizemore; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 5-8 pm at The Moraine Civic Center (3050 Kreitzer Rd, Moraine, OH 45439).
