Vina Elofskey

1938 - 2018

ELOFSKEY, Vina Our beloved mother, Vina Mae Elofskey, 79, of Kettering, OH passed away on April 1, 2018 with family by her side. She retired from the Mazer Corporation in 1983. Vina was born on June 2, 1938 in Torrent, KY to the late Letcher and Minnie (Wise) Vanderpool. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Vanderpool and her husband of 36 years, Harry Elofskey, Sr. Vina is survived by her sons, Danny Elofskey (Michelle), Harry Elofskey, Jr. (Rebecca), and Michael Elofskey; grandchildren, Nathan, Brenton, Dillon, Ian, Aubrey, Sean, and Andrew; siblings, Clayton, Zella, Nelson, Jay, and Frank, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Newcomer (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Monday at 10:00 am also at the funeral home with burial following at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
