News Death Notice
GORBY, Wayne N. Age 70, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac N. & Marie (Keith) Gorby; and by one brother, Burl Gorby. Wayne is survived by two children, Melissa A. & her husband, James Butler and David & his wife, Janis Gorby; the mother of his children, Gerturd Gorby; two grandchildren, Wesley & Ryan Pullins; one great granddaughter, Cadence R. Pullins; two brothers, Bruce & his wife, Betty Gorby and Dwain & his wife, Carol Gorby; and by his extended family & many good friends. Wayne was a member of Abundant Life Church of God. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force; a member of the Fairborn American Legion and the F.O.E.; and he retired as the owner of Wayne Gorby Transmission which he founded in 1990. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 8:00 p.m., Tuesday (10/20), at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.
