News Death Notice

FEALY, William Lawrence Age 89 of Vandalia, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011in Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on March 13, 1922 the son of John Edward & Clarice (Waldon) Fealy. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, the K of C and a life member of the VFW. He loved fishing and has enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns for many years. He is survived by his children Alana Gifford, Timothy Lawrence Fealy, Cheryl (Terry) Burch, and Mike (Jackie) Fealy, grandchildren Michael Fealy, Joseph (Jessica) Fealy, Sarah (Adam) Michaelis, and Bill Fealy, great grandchildren Sierra, Lilly, Liam, and Caroline, brothers Tim Miller and Howard Miller, sisters Joanne Welch and Jeannie Brooks, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beryl Fealy, children John Edward Fealy and Michelle Ann Fealy, son-in-law Ron Gifford, and several brothers and sisters. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 5-8 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11:00 am in St. Christopher Catholic Church, Vandalia with Father frank Kierfel officiating. Burial will follow in Polpar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. My prayers are with everyone who loved and cared for Mr.Fealy. To the family I would like to express the appreciation I have for all of you in the care and help your Father and Mother gave to my family and over the years to my Mom. We were truly blessed to have your Father as a neighbor.
