Samayah Barker-Lee Obituary
She was currently in her junior year of high school and had been working at Subway. She loved being with her family and friends and listening to music and dancing. She enjoyed fishing, roller skating, backwoods and her eyelashes.
Among survivors are her parents, Tony and Rheannon Lee of Monroe; maternal grandmother, Barbara Clark of Monroe; paternal grandparents, Maria and Jim Confer of Normandy, Tennessee; her boyfriend, Benny Jimenez of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Naudia Barker of Decatur, Nakoda Barker of Phoenix, Arizona, and Naleah Barker of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Zenobia Barker; and her grandfathers, Jerry Ray and Willy Wright.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Decatur Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, also at the funeral home.
