Albert Minuti Obituary
Albert Minuti, age 80, of Garnet Valley, PA, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away at home on Saturday, January 17, 2015.
Albert was born in September of 1934 in Wilmington, DE. He was a 1952 graduate of H. Fletcher Brown Vocational High School, after which he served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Dix. He was a parishioner of St. Helena Roman Catholic Church.
Albert was a Master Carpenter and worked in new home construction. He was a Field Superintendent for Frank Robino Associates for 30 years, and later for Corrozi Homes.
Those near and dear to Albert will remember him fondly for his unwavering kindness and loyalty, and his love for family and friends.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas A. and Anna (Fede) Minuti. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 55 years, Mary (Konitzer) Minuti; their three children, Albert F. Minuti (Lisa), Lisa M. Fitzgerald (Shawn), and Michael C. Minuti; two grandchildren, Michael P. Minuti and Carrie Minuti; two sisters, Dolly Casseday and Mary Ann Flowers; sister-in-law Carina Konitzer; and extended family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Delaware Hospice team, and the dialysis staff at Fresenius Medical Care Riverside Park, for their compassionate care and support over the past seven years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Helena Roman Catholic Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 22nd. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Helena Roman Catholic Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809, or Delaware Hospice, 16 Polly Drummond Center, Newark, DE 19711.

To Mary and the Family, I am going back a time prior to Al and your wedding when we were all friends. Finding the right words is difficult at best, to say what is in my heart. Those days back in the early 1950's were some of the best times we all enjoyed being friends. Al's passing came as a shock because he was bigger than life to me and always had a kind word of encouragement. We were as brothers in some respects. For that, I am eternally grateful for being accepted as part of the Minuti family. I know first hand of losing loved ones and time will help you in remembering the good times and forgetting the pain & suffering he took as a brave warrior. God Bless you and the Family.

The Minuti family ( Tom, Ann, Al, Dolly, and Mary Ann ) were as much of a biological addition to my formative years as anyone could wish for in a life time. I owe each and every one of you. Although some are now at peace with God, The remainder will stay within the confines of my heart forever.

It is with a grieving heart that I go back to our teen years and recall times with Leonard Barski, Don Tancredi, Bob DiOrrio, Dolly and Mary Ann.
