Born in Lake Butler, FL on February 27, 1922; departed this life on May 20, 2015.
Alice was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Benjamin Pearson, Sr. and Roger Hawkins; parents, Neala Helen and Marion Golden, Sr.; 3 children, William Pearson, Richard Pearson and Alice Woodard; 1 grandson, Dwayne Pearson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Donald Pearson, Sr. (Mary Corine), Benjamin Pearson, Jr. (Evelyn), Helen Carson (Paul), Joseph Randolph Pearson (Barbara), Carol Larue Woodard; stepdaughter, Julia Nelson; son-in-law, Emory Woodard; 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Claristine Stewart and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Service of celebration 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Community Presbyterian Church, 519 Rogers Rd., New Castle, DE. Viewing from 8-10 a.m. with formal home going services to follow. Interment in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
