Barbara Sweede Obituary
AGE: 80 • Lewes, DE
Barbara B. Sweede, age 80, of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2015.
She was the daughter of Calvert and Iva Baker. Barbara was a receptionist for Prudential Preferred Properties retiring in 1997 before moving to Lewes. She loved animals and children and enjoyed music, shopping, going to the beach and traveling to Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold; her brother, Richard E Baker, her niece, Donna M. Baker and her nephew, Richard N. Baker.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Lisa and Jeff Cirillo; her niece, Kimberly B. Ortiz, two great nieces, Arianna and Lexi and her step daughter, Colleen Pierson and her family.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 30 at 12 noon at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek where friends may visit with the family from 10 am -12 noon. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 240 N. James St., Suite 100 A, Newport, DE 19804.

Lisa, I was sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I will always remember her as a gracious lady with a beautiful smile.
I called the number in your Uncle Dicky's phone book to ask about her but was told the number was no longer in service.
Tell your Dad that Priscilla and Dorothy Onizuk was asking for him.

l have so many fond memories going back to the 70's..boating,spending time at Pott Nets at you're beautiful mobile home. Having Friday night spaghetti dinners.. Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas, these are wonderful memories l cherish. Rest in Peace Barbara.
