Carol Clayton Obituary
Bear - Carol Ann Clayton, age 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2018.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late David and Rose Cadwallader. Carol graduated from Claymont HS in 1976. Carol worked for JP Morgan for 26 years, BNY Mellon for 6 years, then Wilmington Trust until 2018, mostly in the foreign stock reconciliation. She enjoyed traveling, but loved mostly spending time with her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her husband of 22 years, Jim; their daughter, Isabel Rose Mary; 2 sisters, Debbie Knott (Chuck) and Michele Amato (Rocky Donovan); nieces and nephews, Marisa, Lynde, Michael, Amy, Grace, Chuck, Jr., Justin and Tyler.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, November 8, from 6-8 pm, at McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington (Talleyville) and on Friday, November 9, starting at 11 am, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, 716 Mt. Airyshire Blvd., Suite 100, Columbus, OH 43235.

My heart goes out to Jim and Isabella on the lose of Carol. She was such a sweet caring lady. I've had the pleasure of working with her at WT. Her love for her family and the E-A-G-L-E-S was priceless. RIP Carol

Carol was such a sweet woman!!!!! I worked with Carol at BNY Mellon in the Custody Reporting Department I didn't find out she passed until today! My heart is broken but I would like to send my prayers out to her husband and daughter whom she loved and talked about all the time at work. She will be missed!!!! Love you Carol
