DAMON TAYLOR Obituary
Taylor
Age 61, died on June 13, 2007 at his residence in Wilmington, DE surrounded by his family.
Mr. Taylor was born in Wilmington, DE. He graduated from Salesianum School in 1964, University of Delaware in 1968, and received a Master's in English Literature from Long Island University. During the Vietnam War, he served with the Green Berets attaining the rank of Lt. and was awarded a bronze star for battlefield bravery. Following his military service, he had a distinguished career with the FBI, which lasted 31 years. He later served as a security consultant for several corporations.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Ann; 2 children: Damon and Nicole; father, William A. Taylor Sr. of Wilmington; a brother; William A. Taylor Jr. and wife, Eve of Hernando, FL; sisters, Sally Allshouse and Shay Lipshitz of Lewes, DE, Margaret Hancock and husband, Raymond of Newark, DE; sister-in-law, Gail Anning and husband, Allen; several nephews and nieces and their spouses. He was predeceased by his mother, Margaret U. Taylor.
Funeral arrangements are private.
