Diego Francica Obituary
Age 87, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE.
Mr. Francica was born December 2, 1924 in Calabre, Italy. He raised his family in Buenos Aries, Argentina. He later settled in Burlington, NJ with his wife Francisca (nee Mercuri), where he worked in the family business, Pizza Village and Italian Restaurant.
Diego was predeceased by his wife, Francisca, his sons Francisco and Nicolas and daughter-in-law Jorgelina. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Giuseppe Sr. and Mary (nee Darr) of Burlington, NJ, Oscar and Janet (nee Kisner) of Dover, DE; his daughter Ana Maria "Rodriguez" Francica of Wilmington, DE; daughters-in-law, Alicia of Argentina and Rosalee (nee Barrows) of Daytona, FL; his grandchildren Diego and Nicolas Vincente of Charlotte, NC, Guiseppe Jr. and wife Nicole Procaccino of Burlington, NJ, Michelle Sherry and husband Joseph T. Ryan of Burlington, NJ, Frank Albert and wife Christina Jones of Pittsburgh, PA, Alejandro Gabriel and wife Ashley Walsh of Wilmington, DE, Christopher of Burlington, NJ, Matthew Thomas, Christopher James Kisner and Debra Marie Kisner, all of Dover, DE. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Morgan of Florida, Giovaninna, Caramia, Sarafina, Joseph Michael, Nicolas Jayden, all of Burlington, NJ, Dominic Paul and Luciano Giuseppe of Pittsburg, PA and Gabriel Xavier of Wilmington, DE.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, May 30, at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 pm and again on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 am. Entombment will follow services in Odd Fellows Cemetery Mausoleum, Burlington.
