Edna DeVito Obituary
Wilmington - Edna L. DeVito "Woody", age 77 of Wilmington, passed away on February 5, 2021.
Edna was born to the late William And Jesse Woody in Eddystone, PA. She was a devoted nurse at Christiana Hospital for 30+ years. Edna proudly served her community in numerous charitable organizations and co-founded Supporting KIDDS.
Edna is survived by her children Lisa Gansz (Stephen), Tony DeVito, Jr., and Guy DeVito (Sabrina); grandchildren Brandon Shaw, Matthew Shaw, Jake Bascht, Melissa Gansz, Alexandra DeVito, and Hannah Bascht; great-grandchild Brandon Shaw; and brother Billy Woody (Matt Swagla) of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Edna is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Antonio DeVito, Sr.
Funeral arrangements will be held in private.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Supporting KIDDS, 1213 Old Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707.
