Eleanor H. Paslowski (Barczykowski), passed peacefully to her eternal rest on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Manor Care, Pike Creek with her daughter Connie by her side. In her early years Eleanor was a cosmetologist in various salons in Wilmington until she moved into the banking industry. She held various positions in the credit department at Bank of Delaware in Wilmington until she became a stay at home Mother.

In years past, Eleanor was an avid reader and gardener and delighted in her summer garden, especially making her famous hot pepper tomato salad. She loved her vacations at Dewey Beach with the family, especially surf fishing. Her favorite saying was by far "Que Sera, Sera" (what will be will be), and lived her life wholeheartedly believing that. She is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Paul, her father Stephen Barczykowski and her mother, Anna C. Barczykowski (Sevinski). She is survived by her daughter, Connie Deptula (Paul); her grandson, Kris whom she adored; brother, Stephen Barczykowski (Edna); sister, Millie Miller (Jerry) all of New Castle, DE; nieces and nephews and her Holy Spirit family.

A special thank you to Marylou and Gerry Collins and Karen Marion who were so supportive and helpful through Eleanor"s illness early on and to the nurses and staff of the Arcadia Unit of Manor Care who went above and beyond in their love and care for Eleanor while she was there.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Holy Spirit Church, 12 Winder Road, New Castle, DE 19720.
