Of Brandywine Hundred, DE, passed away Monday, September 25, 2006, in Shipley Manor.
Mr. Anderson was a retired Chemical Research Supervisor for the DuPont Company. Evan was a 1941 graduate of Brigham-Young University and a longtime member of Concord Presbyterian Church and the Dupont Country Club. He took great pride in growing beautiful roses around his home.
Mr. Anderson is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Harriette Cheeseman Anderson, in 1993. Survivors include his son, Evan, and his wife, Janice; 2 sisters, Vivian Nichols and Dorothy Clarke, 3 grandchildren, Kristi, Melanie, and Michael Anderson. Survivors also include 2 great grandchildren, Steven Snover and Noah Anderson.
A Service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, October 1, in Concord Presbyterian Church, 1800 Fairfax Boulevard, Wilmington DE, 19803. Friends may call Friday September 29, from 6-8 pm in the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville. Burial will be Tuesday, October 3, in Provo, UT.
Contributions can be made in Evan's memory to Concord Presbyterian Church, 1800 Fairfax Boulevard, Wilmington, DE, 19803.
