Frank LEO Obituary

Frank J. Leo Age 74 of Wilmington, DE, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at home. Mr. Leo was born in Toughkenamon, PA and graduated in 1948 from Kennett High School He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and playing golf. He was an avid Eagles fan and formerly coached youth football. He was a member of the Italian American Club of Kennett Square, Tuffie's Club of Toughkenamon, The Over the Hill Gang, a past officer of the A.M.I., and a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church in Avondale, PA. He was a mushroom grower and a Korean navy veteran. Frank is survived by his wife, Eddie Carozzo Leo of Wilmington, DE; 4 sons, Frank J. Leo, Jr., of Newark, DE, Thomas E. Leo of Lincoln University, PA, Michael P. Leo of Landenberg, PA, Stephen E. Leo of Wilmington, DE; 1 daughter, Leslie Leo Rimmer of Norwich, VT, and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Frank Leo and his mother, the late Tessie Niccolini Leo. A funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, September 6, 2004 at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, Rt. 41, Avondale, PA, with visitation from 9:30-11 am. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA, 19348. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Delaware Hospice, Suite 100, Clayton Building, 3515 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19801. Arrangements by DELLAVECCHIA, REILLY & SMITH 610-696-1181
