Gertrude L. FOLTZ

Gertrude L. Foltz Age 86 of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Newark, DE died January 18, 2004 in the Christiana Hospital. Mrs. Foltz was owner/operator of the Dairy Queen in Glasgow, DE. She was a member of the Red Lion United Methodist Church and the Cornerstone Senior Center. She was active with the Republican Party. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, gardening and was active with various homemaker clubs in her community. She was the wife of the late Tunis C. Foltz, who died in 1986. Survived by 1 son, Tunis C. Foltz and his wife, Kristin of Bear, DE; 1 daughter, Beverly A. Kennedy of Newark, DE; 1 sister, Dorothy Steen of Newark, DE; and 1 sister-in-law, Audrey Laws of Newark, DE. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Beth Ohline, Jennifer Kennedy and Jason Foltz; also 2 great grandchildren, Nathan Foltz and Carter Ohline. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 21 in the Red lion United Methodist Church, 1545 Church Road, Bear, DE where friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Pencader Presbyterian Church Cemetery, in Glasgow, DE.
