H. Burke Flickinger, Sr. H. Burke Flickinger, Sr., age 60, died at his home in Wilmington, DE on Saturday, January 10, 2004. Mr. Flickinger, a former real estate developer, was a partner in the Atlantic Sands Hotel and partner in both the Breakers Motel and The Village By The Sea, all located in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Prior to his career in real estate, Burke was a partner with his father in By-Products, Inc., a commodities brokerage firm. Burke is survived by his parents, Catherine and Herb Flickinger; and his children, Burke, Jr., Cole and his wife Tonya, and Elizabeth, all of Wilmington. The funeral service will be at 11 am, Wednesday, January 14 at the McCrery Memorial Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville (Route 202, south of Silverside Rd.), where friends may call after 10 am. Interment will be at Lower Brandywine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Talleyville Volunteer Fire Company, 3919 Concord Pike, P.O.
