Harrison EASTBURN Obituary

Harrison L. Eastburn Age 71 of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at his residence. He was born and raised in Wyncote, PA on January 1, 1931 to the late Mortimer N. Eastburn and Mary M. (nee McEvoy) Eastburn. Prior to moving to Phoenixville, he also lived in North Carolina and Havertown, PA. He attended Germantown Academy, University of Pennsylvania and University of Pennsylvania Law School. He was a member of the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association. Mr. Eastburn was an attorney for Suburban Abstract Title Insurance and retired in the mid 90's. He is preceded in death by his late wife, Mary Louise (nee Lane) Eastburn to whom he was married 44 years at the time of her death in 2001. He is survived by his children, Mary Ellen Gardner of Drexel Hill, PA, Matthew Eastburn of Newark, DE and Grant Eastburn of East Lansdowne, PA; 7 grandchildren; and a brother Mortimer Eastburn of NC. He was a devoted father, grandfather and loved his dog. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, October 7 at 10 am at the St. Cyril Church, Penn Blvd., East Lansdowne, PA. Burial will be in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. The family suggest donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 600 N. Jackson St., Media, PA 19063.
