Age 82 of Wilmington, DE passed away on May 22, 2009.
Carl was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was employed as an inspector with Electric Hose & Rubber retiring in 1976 after 17 years of service. After retirement he was a clerk at Dunkirk Liquors until 1990. His wife of 53 years, Charlotte Helbing died in 2000 and his son, Bruce Helbing in 2008.
Carl is survived by his grandson, Robert B. Helbing, daughter-in-law, Carol Helbing, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 27, 2009 at 12:30 pm at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3710 Kirkwood Highway at Duncan Road where friends may call after 11:30. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
