Helen "Louie" MCGOVERN

Helen "Louie" McGovern Age 73 of Kennett Square, PA died Saturday, February 28, 2004, at the Brandywine Hospital in Caln Twp., PA. Born in Kennett Square, she was the daughter of Howard and Helen Moran McGovern. She worked for many years for the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center and in recent years, the Chester County Tourist Bureau. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where she was very active in the ladies prayer group. Survivors include her brother, Raymond McGovern of Kennett Square; sister-in-law, Helen McGovern of Hockessin, DE; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, March 3rd, at St. Patrick Church, 212 Meredith St., Kennett Square. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
