Age 86 of Seaford, DE died on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Genesis Elder Care in Seaford.
Mr. Monaco was one of the original partners in Monaco Restaurant in Seaford and later was an owner an operator of Lo-Mar Office Products in Seaford until he retired in 1984. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, St. Molua Council, a life member of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department and a life member of the American Legion in Seaford.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Monaco; his son, Mike J. Monaco of Rehoboth; 2 grandchildren, J. Michael Monaco of Annapolis, MD and Meg Anne Rosenberg of Richmond, VA; 2 great grandchildren, Steven and Sean Rosenberg; and 2 sisters, Daisy Massaro of Seaford and Mary Maturo of Millsboro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, June 11th, at 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Stein Hwy., Seaford. Friends may call at the CRANSTON FUNERAL HOME, 300 N. Shipley St., on Saturday morning, June 11, from 9:30-10:30. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
