Janice Justice Obituary
AGE: 75 •
Janice "Jan" Snyder Justice passed away at her home in The Villages, FL on January 30, 2017 at the age of 75. Jan was preceded in death by her parents George U and Mildred A (Batdorf) Snyder and her sister Marcia L Nornhold.
Jan is lovingly remembered by her son Marc E Underkoffler; daughters Ellen C Underkoffler and her partner Sue D Cofer, Karen E Underkoffler and her wife Jennifer C Underkoffler. Along with her grandchildren: Hannah, Abigail, Elisha, and Gideon Underkoffler, and Raistlin and Hunter Seigal; and her sister Gail S Firestone.
Jan was born in Harrisburg, PA on August 9, 1941. She graduated from Camp Hill HS in 1959, and went on to earn a BS in Science from West Chester State in 1962, and a MS in Education and Human Development from the University of Delaware in 1976. Her first career was as an elementary and middle school teacher and her second career was as a travel agent.
Janice enjoyed exploring the world, history, helping her church, painting, photography, visiting and spending time with her children and grandchildren, and doting on her Shih Tzus (Angel, Chip and Cookie).
A service of remembrance will be held at Parkview Assembly of God
235 Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark, DE 19711, on Saturday February 18, 2017. A "viewing" will be held from 11:00am to 12 noon. The service will begin at 12 noon. Please rsvp to [email protected].

I met Jan when I became manager at Talleyville Travel. She was a pleasure to work with and always a wealth of information. She was loved and respected by all her co-workers and clients. Jan loved the Theater (DuPont). She invited Sue, Michelle and I to join her with season tickets. We would have a great time enjoying dinner prior. This continued for several years until Jan retired and moved to the Villages. I enjoyed visiting her, sometimes golfing with her friends, or her visiting me in Orlando. I was blessed this past year when Jan came to DE in August to visit the Grand kids, she stayed with me. She would return every night with a smile on her face, and pictures to show after an exhausting day out. Michelle and I were blessed in December to have Jan meet us in Orlando for a fun week. I will miss her smile, laughter, witty humor, conversations, advise, FB updates and email updates as she boosted about her children's accomplishments. She was so proud of her family. We will all miss you, but will meet again.
