Age 87, passed away on August 2, 2008 at Christiana Hospital.
Born in Hatboro, PA she graduated from Otterbein College at age 18. Her lifelong love of the English language led her to a teaching career in the Newark, DE schools. Her favorite part of teaching was the AP English classes. Reading, swimming and playing duplicate bridge lead her many interests.
She was married to the late H. Clifton Foreman on August 2, 1941 and is survived by her only daughter, Lois (Edward R.) Sanders, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held this Friday, August 8, at 2pm, at the chapel-auditorium at Cokesbury Village, 726 Loveville Rd., Hockessin, DE.
