Jeanne Martin Obituary
Jeanne Montgomery Martin, 94, formerly of Wilmington, DE, died Monday, September 9, 2013. Born October 9, 1918, in Hazleton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lillian and Richard Montgomery, and the widow of William Martin. She moved to Spartanburg in 2005.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jennie Montgomery; two nieces, Jennie M. Elledge (Scott) of Augusta, GA, and Amy M. Abel (Carter) of Cave Creek, AZ; one nephew, Dr. Richard Montgomery (Betsy) of Boise, ID; seven great-nieces and one great nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, John R. Montgomery.
A private service will be held Monday, September 16, 2013, at Chandler Funeral Home in Wilmington.
