Beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away suddenly on January 10, 2010.
John was born in Wilmington, DE on September 17, 1972. He is the son of John F. Jr. and Grace M. Dagenais of Fort Lauderdale, FL. John graduated from Plantation High School and earned a Bachelors' degree from Florida Atlantic University. He was employed by Global Capital Advisors Group, C&S Fund Services and AAA Realty Group, Inc. John was a devoted, loving and caring family man who cherished everyday with his wife, children and Family. He loved spending time outdoors, playing golf, fishing, water sports and playing in the pool with his children. He was a huge Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies Fan. He also loved watching the Florida Gators. His greatest joy was being with his family.
He was predeceased by his father-in-law, David R. Elkin. John is survived by the love of his life, Jaime M. Dagenais; his son, Brayden Chase Dagenais and daughter, Jayda Ryan Dagenais. In addition to his parents, John is survived by his three sisters, Bonnie L. Igo and her husband Gene M. Igo of Wilmington, DE, Jacalynn D. Dagenais and Vickie D. Sterling of Fort Lauderdale, FL, mother-in-law, Mimi Elkin of Delray Beach, FL; sister-in-law, Danielle Klein Husband Michael Klein of Boynton Beach, FL; his nieces and nephews, Shawn, Kellie and Deidre Igo, Taylor and Shane Sterling and Joshua, Matthew and Alexandra Klein; grandparents, Sheila Fine, Nancy and Murray Elkin and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be at 10 am, Thursday January 14, at The Gardens, 4103 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, Florida 33431.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial donations payable to John Dagenais Children. Mail to: 1260 NW 101 Avenue, Plantation, Florida 33322.
