I enjoyed working with John for many years at Conrail. John was a great asset to the engineering department, as a young, mechanical engineer fresh out of college, he took me under his wing. He was very knowledgeable on air brakes and was the go to guy if you had a problem or question concerning airbrakes or the Railroad in general

I have great memories of your father working in the backyard. It was always nice to talk to him over the fence and share stories of sports or gardening. He was always kind to my family and made us feel welcomed in the neighborhood. My condolences to all the family members.

I have fond memories as a child. What a great man. Always kind and upbeat. Even though I moved away 30 years ago. I will always remember celebrating the holidays. I last saw John, when my mother Eva passed away. He was still the same charming man I had remembered. May memories treasured in your heart of times that were most dear , bring peace to you and yours.

Sending love and angels.

Love Julia (Judy) Lazartic (Longmont, Colorado)

We are deeply sorry to hear about the death of your father, and are thinking of you during this difficult time. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel. You don't get over it, you just get through it. He will always be in our hearts and memories. With deepest sympathy, Marci & Fred
