John A. Mili, 82, passed away on September 13, 2017, at his home in Boca Raton, Florida.

John was born in Wilmington, Delaware on July 30, 1935 to the late John and Marion Marra Mili. John was not just a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin, or friend; to know John was to love John, and that applied to every person he came in contact with. He touched lives in ways like no other. John served in the Korean War and was a true hero.

John lived in Boca Raton, Florida for the past 21 years. After family and friends, golf was his passion. John was such an accomplished golfer that he had earned 3 aces (holes-in-one). More than anything he loved spending time with his family, to whom he loved.

John was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy; brother Alex; and son Johnny. He is survived by his wife Irene; daughters Donna, Caroline, Marian, and Kathy; step-daughter Denise; grandchildren Shaun, Tonilynn, Jennifer Heather, Milana, and Gianni; great-grandchildren Ameriana, Mariah, and CJ; brothers Tony and Mario. John also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

A viewing will start at 10am on Friday, September 22, 2017 at CHARLES P. ARCARO FUNERAL HOME, 2309 Lancaster Ave., Wilmington DE 19805. A Memorial Service will begin at 12pm. Entombment to follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
