My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with you all. I grew up with Rode and Risenweaver kids. I can remember Jeanne working with the horses at the farm...always busy! She was an incredibly talented person. A very gifted artist. To her children...know that your mom will never be far from you. She will always be close because of your memories carried within to your heart. The world has lost a very special person much to soon.

I am going to still beep my horn when I go by the greenhouse and wave to Jean. I will do it in rememberance of her. Although the beauty of my flowers from her remind me of her everyday. If there is anything, I mean anything to do please contact me. I would love to work at the greenhouse for nothing just to carry on her legacy. 856 599 0273. Just call me if I can help in anyway. Jeanie was a great friend all through HS . We hung out together, did all funny stuff that you do when your young.
Jeanie was always the artist in are group, they way she could draw was amazing.
She was so sweet and nice, just a great person.

Jean taught me so much about plants. She also had a good heart and was always ready to listen to my problems even if we hadn't seen each other in months. I will miss her. The world has lost a great lady.

Jean will be remembered fondly as my "flower girl and friend." Pulling into the greenhouse was a bright spot, always greeted with a warm embrace. Thank you, Jean...you will be missed! Christina, Earl, and Jackie, cherish the fact that you come from "good stock!" Simply put, Chris and Jean were "real and cool people!" God bless you and your family during this sad time and beyond.

Our deepest condolences are with the entire Rode family during this difficult time. For 13 years we have always gotten all our flowers for all seasons from Jean. The most wonderful person and talented woman. Our community has lost one of the best.

Jean was the artist and I was the poet and our abilities led us to a deep and lasting friendship. So many happy memories of raising our children at the greenhouse will be with me always. Christina, Earl and Jackie-I love you all and will always be here for you. Your mom left a handprint on our hearts that can never be replaced. Dearest Christina, Earl, Jacqueline and Family! I am so sorry about your beautiful precious mom passing away. She was such a sweetheart and so full of life! She made me 17 beautiful horses on yardsticks that we use every year in Sunday school for our Easter program with the children pretending to be Jesus riding on the donkey on Palm Sunday. I loved it when she used to help me in Sunday school. She always had such a warm and friendly smile for everyone and was always eager to be of help. She is gone way too soon! Heaven is so much brighter now with your beautiful mom as an angel watching over you all. Cherish all your precious memories of her and may they help ease your pain and heartbreak! I only knew Jean a short time but she touched my heart the first day. She loved my girlfriend, Paulette, who worked for her for a while. We would talk like we knew each other for years. We just connected. I will miss stopping by and talking to her and blowing the horn and her waving back when I go by. She would also hand me a flower of some kind before I left along with a hug. As I look in my yard and see all my beautiful flowers I will reflect on the beautiful lady that grew them. I am so blessed that she was in my circle of life. Thoughts and prayers for her family. May God bless them and comfort them at the time.
