Joseph CORRADO

Joseph S. Corrado Age 84 of Kennett Square passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2001 at his home in Kennett Square. He was the husband of Mafalda (Muffy) Manfredi Corrado with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lucretia Gabutti Corrado. Mr. Corrado was a co-founder of Corrado American, Inc., a site development construction company located in New Castle, DE. He was a past president of Allied Construction and the Delaware Contractors Association. He remained active in the business throughout his illness. Survivors include in addition to his wife include 2 sons, Joseph J. Corrado of Kennett Square and Frank L. Corrado of Kennett Square; 1 daughters, Victoria C. Schult of Kennett Square; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and DuPont Sts., Wilmington, DE. Friends and family may call from 7-9 pm Tuesday, October 16, 2001 at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Kennett Square.
