Joseph KRUEMMER Obituary

Joseph G. Kruemmer Mr. Joseph G. Kruemmer, age 73 of Middletown, DE died on Friday, September 12, 2003 at his home. Born in Germantown, PA on July 26, 1930, Mr. Kruemmer was the son of the late Gertrude (nváe Volk) and Joseph John Kruemmer. He retired from the security department of the Chrysler Corporation in Newark in 1993 after a 30-year career. An active member of the Odessa Fire Company, Mr. Kruemmer served with the Fire Police and was a member of both the Delaware State Police Fire Association and the New Castle County Fire Police Association. He was also member of the Delaware Fraternal Order of Police. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Kruemmer was a member of the Delaware Korean War Veterans Association. In his spare time, he also coached MOT Little League baseball. His wife, Grace Hawk Kruemmer, died in December 2002. He is survived by 2 children, Joseph J. Kruemmer of Middletown and Nancy K. Talmo and her husband, Nick, of New Castle; a brother, Allan J. Kruemmer of Atco, NJ; and 4 grandchildren, Joseph R. Kruemmer, Jessa L. Kruemmer, Nicholas J. Talmo and Steven V. Talmo. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Kruemmer. Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2003, at the SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 1000 N. DuPont Pkwy., Wilmington Manor, New Castle. A service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, September 18, 2003, in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
