Joseph Lensbower Obituary
Formerly of Newark - Joseph Russell "Lenny" Lensbower, Jr., age 62, of Chincoteague Island, VA, passed away on May 31, 2018 at his residence.
He was born in Virginia on November 13, 1955 to the late Joseph and E. Marie (Bennett) Lensbower.
Joseph is survived by his loving spouse of 25 years, Dorothy Lensbower of Chincoteague Island, VA; two sons, Joseph Russell Lensbower, III and his wife Samantha of Bear, DE, Cayman D. Lensbower and his girlfriend Lauren Vogel of Coatesville, PA; step son, William Thompson and his wife Jackie of Dover, DE; step daughter, Kristen Thompson of Chadds Ford, PA; Granddaughter, Aubree Lensbower of Coatesville, PA; Grandson, Cato Lensbower of Coatesville, PA; sister-in-law, Lisa Penza Lardo and her husband Anthony and their son Anthony all of New York.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 15, at 11 am, at the McCrery and Harra Funeral Homes, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, where friends may call after 10 am. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be to Special Olympics DE, 619 S. College Ave., Newark, DE 19716.
