Joseph Pelle Obituary
AGE: 54 • Pennsville, NJ
Joseph A. Pelle, age 54, of Pennsville, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 22, 2016. Joe enjoyed working in the medical field and spent time at Christiana, St. Francis, and A.I. DuPont Hospitals culminating in his employment at BayHealth Medical Center. Joe was a kind, gentle man who was compassionate and thoughtful to all who came in contact with him. He was an avid Cowboys fan. Joe was an amazing husband who loved to travel with his beloved wife to a variety of places. Joey loved spending time with his family and they all will cherish the memories they made with him.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Hedy Pelle; mother, Iole Pelle; 2 brothers, Paul Pelle (Graciela) and John Pelle; 2 sisters, Louise Thomas (Jerry) and Lucy Pierce (John); parents-in-law, Jose and Arlene Delgado; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Nicole Pelle; father, Ertedoro Pelle; and sister, Loretta Blevins.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 9:30-11:30 AM in the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by service in celebration of Joe's life at 11:30. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Joe's Bayhealth family and the Neuro ICU and ER teams for all the expert loving care that was given to him. I am stunned and saddened, beyond words, to learn of Joe's passing. I had the pleasure of spending time with Joe at the last Bayhealth Leadership Development session and will treasure that memory.
