Katherine A. HALEY

Katherine A. Haley "Kitty" Katherine Anna "Kitty" Haley, age 88, of Elkton, MD, died Thursday, December 30, 2004. Born on June 5, 1916, in Townsend, DE, she was the daughter of the late Eben C. and Lenora Faries Alfree. Mrs. Haley was a homemaker and also retired from the University of Delaware. She loved being with her family and enjoyed crafts. Survivors include her children, C. Rodney "Roscoe" Haley and wife, Dean, and Virginia L. Harvilla and husband, Robert, all of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Cathy M. Wood, Julia Lakatos, R. Thomas Meekins, Patricia Cathell, Robert A. Haley Jr., R. Todd Meekins, Elizabeth Harvilla, and Robert Harvilla Jr.; and great grandchildren, Lauren, Megan and Andrew Duckworth, Robert Cathell Jr., Robby Tiley Jr. and Alyssa and Zachery Meekins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Haley; and son, Robert A. Haley. Funeral service will be held 11 am, Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at HICKS HOME FOR FUNERALS, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD, where family and friends may call after 10 am. Interment will be in Townsend Cemetery, Townsend, DE.
