Kelly Shea

AGE: 63 • Walterville, Oregon

Kelly Shea passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 8th surrounded by family and close friends following a brief illness. He was born in Portsmouth, VA, the son of Stephen and Gloria Shea. As a teenager, he moved with the family to Wilmington and relocated to Oregon 15 years ago. Kelly was a graduate of Salesianum Class of 1970 and attended the University of Delaware. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his intelligence, his friendship and his love of music.

I knew Kelly in Naples, he lived down the street (Via Manzoni) from us and he was in a couple of my junior high classes. He was such a fun and lively person, always smiling and cheerful. I wished I had reconnected with him so much earlier. My memories of him are all so positive. This photo is from our 6th grade class pictures.

Kelly will always be in my heart and the great memories of his vast intellect and kindness. Having an admirable colleague during our employment of many years with ICI/Zeneca/Astra he always had the ability to bring sunny days even if it was raining outside. His sharing of his love for his family especially his Mom will forever impact how the true spirit he represented should be present in all of our daily lives. His cherished companion Larry allowed him to venture west with new adventures. Comfort and peace to all of you as his legacy instills he is no longer on earth with us yet we are so thankful for each day we were blessed to spend with Kelly. Laugh often and love more to honor a great man

Condolences from the Prouty family. We knew Kelly and his family in Naples, Italy. I still remember him sneaking into the Pizzaria with my brother, Pete. God bless him and his family.

I worked with Kelly at the Newark plant when he was here. A really nice guy. We talked a lot about hockey and I know he was a big Flyers fan. May God be with the family and give them comfort at this time of the year.
