Age 55 died Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Christiana Hospital.
Kenneth had been a member of the Ironworkers Local #451 since 1980. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran, who served from 1969 to 1971. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed all spectator sports with his son, Shaun. Kenneth was a loving husband and father who was dedicated to his wife and son. Ken always enjoyed the simple things in life, one being catching, cooking, and eating crabs on his deck on a nice summer night. He will be truly missed by all who loved him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elizabeth; a sister, Elizabeth Morrison; and mother and father-in-law, Margaret and Harry Moore. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Florence and his son, Shaun, who lives at home. He is also survived by his brothers, William F. Baker and his wife, Theresa, of Elsmere and Wayne D. Baker and his wife, Lori, of Seminole, FL; sister, Patricia McCafferty of Wilmington; sister-in-law, Bob-bie Ueltzhoffer; brother-in-law, Harvey Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Tuesday, April 26th, at 1 pm. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon-1 pm. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.
